Overview
Comprehensive Military Welding Capabilities
Dengtai Armor Solutions brings over 15 years of specialized experience in military-grade welding for armored vehicles, cope cages, and defense structures. Our welding facility is certified under AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code, ISO 3834-2 Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding, and complies with MIL-STD-1185 for military applications. We maintain a rigorous quality management system that ensures every weld meets the demanding standards of modern defense forces.
Our team of 50+ AWS Certified Welders and 8 Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) are trained in advanced processes including Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG), Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG), and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) for heavy armor plate. We weld a wide range of military-grade materials including AR500, Hardox 400/450/500, Mil-A-12560, and 5083 aluminum armor alloys.
Every weld produced at Dengtai undergoes 100% Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) including ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), dye penetrant testing (PT), and radiographic testing (RT) where required. Our documented Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) are available for customer review and approval, ensuring full traceability and compliance from first article through production.

Features
Features & Benefits
Multi-Standard Certification
Certified under AWS D1.1, ISO 3834-2, MIL-STD-1185, and EN 15085-2 CL1. Our welders hold individual AWS and ASME certifications verified through annual performance qualification testing.
Comprehensive NDT Inspection
100% of production welds undergo NDT inspection — ultrasonic (UT), magnetic particle (MT), dye penetrant (PT), and radiographic (RT) as required. All NDT technicians are ASNT Level II/III certified.
Wide Material Expertise
Proven WPS for AR500, Hardox 400-500, Mil-A-12560, Mil-A-46100, 5083 aluminum, S700MC, and S960QL high-strength steel. Pre-heat and interpass temperature control for hydrogen crack prevention.
Documented Quality Traceability
Full weld documentation including WPS, PQR, welder qualifications, material certs (MTR), NDT reports, and as-built drawings. Complete traceability from raw material to finished assembly.
Heavy Plate Welding
Capable of welding armor plate up to 150 mm thick with multi-pass techniques, controlled heat input, and stress relief heat treatment for distortion-free results.
Third-Party Audit Ready
Our facility welcomes customer audits, prime contractor inspections, and independent third-party verification. We maintain open access to all quality records and production areas.
