Standard production lead time ranges from 15 to 45 working days depending on order complexity and current factory capacity. Simple slat armor or bar armor orders may ship in 15–20 days, while complex custom cope cage designs with specialized welding requirements typically take 30–45 days. We can accommodate rush orders for urgent defense contracts — please specify your deadline when requesting a quote.

We work with a wide range of armor-grade and structural steel including AR400, AR450, AR500, Hardox 400/450/500, MIL-SPEC ballistic steel, S690QL high-strength steel, and standard structural steel (Q235, Q345, S235, S355). We have no strict MOQ for standard product lines — we accept orders as small as a single set of cope cage armor for one vehicle. For custom OEM designs with new tooling or fixture setup, a minimum quantity of 5–10 units may apply to amortize the initial engineering and setup costs. We typically accept T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) bank transfer and L/C (Letter of Credit) for large orders. Standard payment terms are 30% deposit with the order and 70% balance before shipment. Dengtai Industrial is ISO 9001:2015 certified and our welding processes comply with AWS D1.1 (Structural Welding) and ISO 3834 (Quality Requirements for Welding). We implement 100% visual inspection on all weld seams, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) including ultrasonic testing and magnetic particle inspection on critical joints, and dimensional verification against approved drawings. Material certifications (mill test reports) are provided for all armor-grade steel plates.

Yes, we offer prototype and sample fabrication services. For small-scale prototypes (1–2 units), we can produce sample pieces to validate fit, form, and function before full production. Sample lead time is typically 10–15 working days. The cost of the prototype is deducted from the final production order if you proceed with volume manufacturing. Shipping costs for samples are quoted separately.

We ship worldwide via sea freight, air freight, or express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS) depending on order size and urgency. Large production orders are typically shipped via FCL (Full Container Load) or LCL (Less than Container Load) sea freight from Shanghai or Qingdao ports. Small samples and prototype orders can be shipped via express courier. We handle all export documentation including customs clearance, certificate of origin, and packing lists.

We accept drawings in PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP, or IGES formats. You can upload files directly when submitting an inquiry on our website, or send them via email to sales@dtsteelladder.com.
